Yokayo Veterinary Center is looking for an outstanding RVT to join our AAHA-accredited, 5-doctor small animal practice in Ukiah, CA.

Job Description: Our Registered Veterinary Assistant would be responsible for patient care including but not limited to monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgical and dental procedures, administering vaccines, performing laser therapy, changing bandages, running blood work, taking x-rays, and providing overall assistance to doctors and staff when needed.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a licensed RVT in the state of California
• Must have previous experience working in a veterinary setting

• Must have excellent communication skills and multi-tasking skills

• Must have a working knowledge of a computer (AVIMark experience would be wonderful)

• Must have the ability to work with different personality types

• Must be a team player who is flexible and who is accepting of change
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and stand for multiple hours at a time
• Must have open availability and reliable transportation
