We are 1-2 doctor small animal practice in the rural redwoods and want to add the right person to our experienced team. We have an opening for a FT experienced veterinary technician or RVT. Experience working in small animal setting required. We are looking for a grounded, mature person who is motivated, client-service oriented and a team player. There will be some cross-training with reception. This is an amazing position for someone wanting to exercise technical and leadership skills and practice with progressive, forward-thinking doctors. We emphasize low-stress patient handling, dentistry, preventative medicine, compassionate care and client education. Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 pounds. Shifts include Saturdays and schedule flexibility is preferred. Compensation is dependent on experience and includes a living wage, PTO, health benefits, uniform allowance and paid holidays.
