VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, OVERNIGHT CARE (mill valley)

The Sams Clinic clinic is looking for an experienced technician to care for our post-operative orthopedic patients during the overnight hours. We are a state-of-the art facility located in southern Marin County that strives to offer the highest quality of care to our patients.

This position requires experience directly related to the nursing care of post-operative patients. Applicants should have strong observational and decision-making skills as they will be ensuring our patients are calm and comfortable overnight. Pain management experience is a plus. Important qualities for an applicant for this position include: accurate record keeping, self-motivation, strong verbal and written communication. Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and be able to stand, sit and kneel for potentially long periods of time. While we appreciate all those who are interested in this position, the applicant must have medical experience gained in a veterinary facility.
