The Sams Clinic is looking for an experienced veterinary technician, RVTs are welcome but licensure is not required for this position. We are a state-of-the art surgery facility located in southern Marin County that strives to offer the highest quality of care to our patients. Our facility includes 2 spacious surgical suites, digital radiography, CT scanner, and a rehabilitation department.
Important qualities for an applicant to this position include: accurate recordkeeping, self-motivation, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and be able to stand, sit and kneel for potentially long periods of time. Experience with orthopedics/surgery is a plus: bandaging and splinting, radiography, surgery prep. and assistance, monitoring anesthesia, as well as general nursing care.
