This is a newly created opportunity for the right individual to make a difference and positive contribution to canine and feline health and well-being. Companion animals are important to us and Pet Medical Insurance goes a long way to eliminate euthanasia.

The main responsibilities include:
• To provide education, guidance and assistance to clients, veterinary clinic and hospitals, on the critical importance of animal health with the goal to eliminate euthanasia.
• To build on and maintain established relationships.
• To develop new business leads in the veterinary health industry, and subsequently partner to introduce pet medical insurance to veterinary clinics and related businesses in the territory.
• To be knowledgeable on daily operations and best practices at clinics, hospitals and other venues where pet medical insurance is applicable.

Qualifications:
• Veterinary Technicians and/or Veterinary Assistants with same mission and vision
• Minimum 2 years directly related industry experience
• Position requires travel within the bay area territory including San Francisco, Sonoma, Marin, Napa and Contra Costa counties; must have own transportation
• Must be able to work both independently and part of a team
• Must be self-directed, self-motivated, organized and work with targets and deadlines
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience developing and delivering presentations
• Experience meeting targets, deliverables and schedules
