I was reaching out in regards to an available RVT position at the clinic I am an office manager for. The clinic is Montgomery Village Vet, and we are located in Santa Rosa, Ca. The position would be full time, Monday-Friday. We are a one Doctor practice, and focus on the care of cats and dogs. The duties included would be, assisting the Doctor during procedures, administering vaccines, drawing blood, making up medications, dental cleanings, taking x-rays and client communications. Since we are not a hospital, the procedures we primarily perform are dental cleanings, spays/neuters, and mass removals. Our Doctor is very hands on, and cares about the success of his staff. This would be a great starting position for a new graduate since we are a small practice, and would help build the confidence to potentially move on to a larger hospital in the future.
