Washington Square Veterinary Clinic, a full service, AAHA Accredited small animal clinic in Petaluma, is seeking an additional person to round out our exceptional team.

At this time we are looking for an experienced technician for a part time or full time position including one weekend day.  Viable applicants should be confident in demonstrating their ability to perform the following:

• ·       Patient assessment and triage

• ·       Proficient and compassionate care of hospitalized patients

• ·       Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

• ·       General and dental digital radiography

• ·       Surgical prep and assistance, and anesthesia monitoring

• ·       Anticipation of the needs of the doctors and other staff members

• ·       Experience with Avimark a plus

• ·       Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds

Equally important will be a friendly and easy-going disposition that projects a real desire to interact in a positive manner with clients.  You should enjoy the process of educating clients, building confidence in their own ability to continue exceptional care at home.  By listening and responding to their concerns, you will create an invaluable link between client and doctor, ensuring that they know all of their needs have been anticipated and met.
